Reveal Your Beautiful Smile with Cosmetic Dentistry in Webster

Are you ready to come out of isolation after what was certainly a difficult year? With the weather finally warming up, many of us are eager to spend more time outside of the house and see people who likely haven’t seen us in person in quite some time. It’s not unusual that you’d feel self-conscious about your smile if you haven’t had to see people over the last several months. Boost your confidence by scheduling an appointment for cosmetic dentistry in Webster with Empire Dental Care!

You Deserve to Feel Confident About Your Smile

If you believe that cosmetic dentistry is a luxury reserved for someone more deserving, now is the time to dispel that notion. When you feel confident about your smile, you’ll approach life with a better attitude. A better attitude leads to more positive interactions with others. You may even find yourself with more motivation to work toward personal or career goals. That’s not hyperbole – you can accomplish so much more when you feel good about yourself.

Cosmetic Dentistry Options

Here are some of the most popular cosmetic dentistry options that can vastly improve your smile:

Teeth Whitening

Even if you take good care of your teeth with regular brushing and flossing, they’re still prone to yellowing, especially as you age. Professional cosmetic teeth whitening can offer an improved outcome over the treatments you can purchase at your local grocery store or online. Your dentist can recommend that technique that’s best suited for you.

Composite Fillings

If you have silver amalgam fillings, they’re noticeable when you talk, laugh, or yawn. It’s very easy to replace those silver fillings with a material that accurately matches the natural color of your teeth. Composite fillings look more natural, and they’re also incredibly durable.

Porcelain Veneers

A porcelain veneer is basically a thin shell that adheres to your tooth using a bonding ingredient. Veneers are a good option for teeth that are discolored, chipped, broken, or worn down since they’re custom-created to match the color of healthy teeth that surround damaged ones. You’ll be impressed by how well porcelain veneers can dramatically correct and improve the look of your smile.

Porcelain Crowns and Fixed Bridges

Bridges are permanent fixtures held in place by placing crowns on the two healthy teeth that surround a gap left behind by a missing tooth. Another crown fills that gap.

If you have a gap due to a missing tooth, you may feel self-conscious about it. Closing that gap will not only increase your self-confidence but will also help prevent your teeth from shifting, correct an improper bite, and head off other potential issues that could affect your jaw health. Installing a fixed bridge with porcelain crowns is both a cosmetic and preventative dentistry solution.
